SHORT FILMS AUDITION

Quicksylver Productions will be holding auditions for three Short Films to be produced this summer. They are:

o The Contract – A modern re-telling of Aesop’s “The Lion & the Mouse”

o Dispatch – A unique look into the Seven Deadly Sins & how they impact us

o The Quilt – A young woman reaches out to her grandmother, and finds more than she expected.

Shooting will cover at least two weekends in August. Specific shooting dates will be finalized with cast and crew.

Auditions will be held at the Professional Actor’s Studio (2849 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, 30305) on Saturday, July 18. Bring resumes; headshots are preferred but not required. Time breakdown is as follows:

o 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. – M (40s-50s); F (40s-60s)

o 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – M (early teens); F (late teens)

o 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. – M/F (20s-30s)

There will be sides available at the audition, and there is no need to prepare a monologue - Cold Readings Only. You have the option of mailing in your headshot & resume (P.O. Box 54284, Atlanta, 30308 or to productions@quicksylver.com) – if we receive it before the audition date, we will schedule an audition time with you.

Roles will not be paid, but all actors will receive a copy of the finished short(s). The shorts are scheduled to be part of an upcoming Quicksylver Productions event, “SylverReel: A Night of Shorts”. For details about this event, please click the link at left.
